Role: Java Full Stack Developer
Job Type: Contract (6+ months) may extend.
Location: Hybrid, 2 days on site, Downtown Toronto

Your New Role
As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a high-performing Agile team responsible for building scalable, high-performance APIs and client-facing applications. You’ll work across the full stack, with a strong focus on Angular/TypeScript on the front end and Java Spring Boot, Kafka, and Node.js on the back end. You’ll also contribute to the design and development of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Designing and developing robust, scalable code structures.
  • Automating development pipeline processes to support continuous delivery.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Ensuring code quality through unit and functional testing.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
  • 7+ years of experience with Angular/TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, Kafka, Redis, JavaScript, CSS/HTML.
  • Strong experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and MEAN stack development.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development (OpenShift, Docker).
  • Understanding security protocols (JWT, OAuth2.0, OIDC).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
