Our client has an immediate opening for Bilingual Full Stack Java Developer/Analyst to join their team in Montreal on a 12 months contract.

In your new role as a Bilingual Full Stack Java Developer/Analyst, you will analyze, design, develop, maintain, share responsibility for the quality of coded solutions and evolve software products to meet the needs of the organization.

Your role is to contribute to the development of small to medium-sized computer systems, programs and applications and provide the required support, while leveraging your technology proficiency. You will participate in the analysis of customer needs and the development of guidelines in development activities. In this regard, you will plan, prioritize and coordinate work in order to meet the commitments made in line with the objectives to be achieved.

You will collaborate on the implementation of solutions, development or patches, where the ability to manage complexity is essential and will be called upon to interact with stakeholders working in complementary fields of activity related to technology.

You will play an advisory and support role with customers and various stakeholders regarding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the client in the definition of their needs, target, capture, analyze and interpret the information and functional specifications necessary to support the decision-making process in the choice of appropriate technological solutions and in the development of applications.

Be responsible for the development of the implementation of strategies related to functional testing.

Analyze risks, write various reports, tests and recommendations, provide advisory support in their implementation.

Participate in the preparation and proposal of action plans likely to promote the development and deployment of solutions and the correction of situations encountered, in accordance with generally recognized guidelines and rules.

Develop and document work processes.

Skills and Qualifications required:

Demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role

Experience with Agile development projects

Ability to identify and apply software development best practices

Demonstrate mastery in Java, Spring, Angular, TypeScript

Experience with cloud concepts

Be curious, questioning oneself and putting in the effort to learn new things

Ability to identify problems and blockers and propose ways to work around them

Possess good communication skills

Be organized, rigorous and know how to manage priorities

Ability to work with the team to agree to a unified decision on the solution
