Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Project Manager
Location: Toronto or Ottawa
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to join our team.
Job Description: As a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of fire sprinkler projects in the Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal areas. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Your expertise in fire sprinkler systems, combined with your strong project management skills, will be crucial in delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for potential projects.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment at competitive prices.
- Team Management:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including designers, engineers, and installation crews.
- Assign tasks, provide clear instructions, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to verify the installation and functionality of fire sprinkler systems.
- Collaborate with inspectors and authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and customer service.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and change requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities for selling additional fire protection services or maintenance contracts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the fire protection industry, preferably with a focus on common ICI or high-rise residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- The ability to travel to project sites as required.
