Hiring a Financial Reconciliation Analyst for a remote 6-month contract

You will be joining a leading investment management organization.

Your new role

As a Financial Reconciliation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring investment transaction accuracy across multiple platforms, including SimCorp Dimensions (SCD), CRTS, PLM, Calypso, and Eagle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Match and reconcile external bank SWIFT files to SCD records
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and exceptions
  • Validate investment activity: trades, income, maturities, redemptions, and corporate actions
  • Reconcile between SCD and CRTS, PLM, Calypso, and Eagle
  • Suggest improvements to internal/external fund movements
  • Ensure all internal financial controls are functioning correctly

What you'll need to succeed

  • Reside in Canada
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with SCD investment accounting systems
  • Understanding of institutional asset management, investment regulations, and market practices
  • Comfort navigating complex investment processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Independent and detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • 3+ years of experience in the investment industry (asset)
  • CSC or CFA designation is an asset but not required (asset)
