Your new company

Our client is an established and highly regarded General Contractor based out of Richmond, BC. The company is well known for the construction of high-quality commercial and industrial projects across Western Canada. They have a history that spans over 50 years, and a high percentage of their work is undertaken for repeat clients. They take pride in having a very collaborative and transparent approach to business. Various delivery methods are utilized, but primarily work is design/build or construction management.

Your new role

An Estimator is required to join the team and will be based in the Richmond office. You will work on varied bids in the commercial and light industrial sectors. As your experience grows you will have the opportunity to estimate larger and more complex projects and continue your professional development.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, someone with 5+ years’ experience that can put together an estimate independently from start to finish. You will receive support from your team and certainly wont be working on your own. The company has a very collaborative team-oriented environment where mentoring is part of the culture. Skills using estimating software such as onscreen takeoff will be required.
