An exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Service Manager to join an established team in Vancouver!
Your new company
This organization is a longstanding electrical contractor with a strong track record delivering high‑profile commercial and industrial projects across the Lower Mainland. Since starting out in the 90s as a small operation, it has grown into a major player in the industry. Today, the company provides a full range of services, including Electrical Construction, Data and Communications, EV Charging, and Security, Alarm, and Preventative Maintenance work. Known for its quality, reliability, and customer‑focused approach, the company is now expanding its service division and is looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.
Your new role
As the Electrical Service Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day operations of the service department. You’ll oversee scheduling and dispatching, support and mentor a team of service technicians, and act as the main point of contact for service clients. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong customer relationships, preparing estimates, resolving service issues, and ensuring all work meets electrical codes and company standards. You’ll conduct site visits and quality checks, monitor job costing and invoicing, and look for ways to improve efficiency and service delivery. As part of the leadership team, you’ll also contribute to business development efforts, support service agreements, and provide regular updates on departmental performance.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician or hold an equivalent certification, with several years of hands‑on electrical experience that includes service work. You should have at least two years of supervisory or management experience and a solid understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and service operations. Strong communication skills, the ability to lead a team, and the capacity to juggle competing priorities are essential. A valid driver’s license is required, and experience working directly with clients, along with some sales acumen, will be a strong asset.
What you'll get in return
You’ll be joining a respected and growing organization that offers competitive compensation in the range of $110K–$130K plus bonus potential, with on‑target earnings that can exceed $150K. The company also offers RRSP matching, a comprehensive benefits package, and either a vehicle or vehicle allowance. You’ll have opportunities for professional development and long‑term career growth, along with the chance to lead and shape a key division within a company that values quality, teamwork, and strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical leadership, project oversight, and client‑facing work, with plenty of room to increase earning potential.
