Excellent opportunity to join an integrative company as an Engineer!
Your new company
Join a leading integrated development, design, and construction organization recognized nationally for innovation, sustainability, and award‑winning project delivery. With a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and a culture built on curiosity, courage, respect, and connection, this is a place where talented engineers thrive and grow.
Your new role
As a Electrical Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex building projects across commercial, institutional, industrial, and large residential sectors. Acting as Engineer of Record, you will oversee both conceptual and detailed mechanical design, ensuring that HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and constructability. You will coordinate closely with in‑house architects, designers, engineers, and construction managers to produce integrated working drawings and specifications, while also conducting field reviews and building condition assessments to support project execution. Your role will involve preparing technical reports, responding to contractor inquiries, managing design‑related risk, and guiding projects through to closeout. You will also play a key part in developing the next generation of talent by mentoring EITs and Designers, leading discipline training sessions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of design standards and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring at least ten years of engineering experience in a multidisciplinary environment, including a minimum of five years in North America. You hold a Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited Canadian or U.S. institution (or equivalent) and maintain a P.Eng designation. You have strong experience working on institutional, retail, industrial, commercial, and large residential projects, along with advanced knowledge of applicable Plumbing, Building, and Energy Codes. Your technical background includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, load calculations, and energy modelling, and you are comfortable navigating BIM/Revit workflows. Experience with sustainable design, including LEED or Passive House accreditation, will be considered an asset.
What you'll get in return
You will enjoy a base salary of $110K-$135K + comprehensive benefits package that includes extended health and dental coverage, a Health Care Spending Account, an Employee Assistance Program, and a fitness program. The organization offers Group RRSP matching, continuing education support, and a parental leave top‑up program for new and expecting parents. You will also benefit from a vibrant workplace culture with social events, community involvement opportunities, and a centrally located office close to transit, restaurants, and shopping. Additional perks include corporate discounts, cashback incentives, and the chance to work within a supportive, innovative, and people‑focused environment.
