Your new role

As an Electrical Designer, you will support the design and coordination of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential building projects. You’ll assist in developing detailed designs for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems, while working closely with other disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.

You’ll also contribute to site inspections, construction administration, and client communications, while gaining exposure to sustainable design practices and innovative technologies.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience:

3+ years in electrical design within the consulting engineering industry

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience with lighting design software is an asset
Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and Ontario Building Code

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and collaborative mindset
