Your new role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for a variety of building projects, including commercial, institutional, and residential developments. You’ll be responsible for designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems, while working closely with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

Your role will also include conducting site inspections, liaising with clients and contractors, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience:

5+ years in building systems design within the consulting engineering industry

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software
Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, CSA standards, and other applicable regulations
Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to mentor junior staff and work collaboratively across disciplines
