As the Director of Technical Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and day-to-day function of an office tower and shopping centre. You will be leading the existing team which includes an Operations Supervisor and Building Operators. The primary goal of this position is to lead the Operations Department with operational procedures to maximize the efficient management and operation of the property. The focus of the Director of Technical Services is to provide guidance, manage and inspect all building and site operations in the areas of facilities and equipment maintenance (Incl. All mechanical, electrical, power, plumbing, security and other auxiliary equipment), HVAC, fire and life safety, emergency procedures, ground-keeping and security.

To excel in this role, you'll need to bring proven experience in a similar position within a commercial or retail portfolio (preference given to those with multi-use centre experience). You should have strong knowledge of HVAC and DDC controls, experience with budgeting and leading a team plus managing capital projects. You should have the ability to communicate effectively and be a self-motivated and proactive leader.
