Our client, a growing manufacturer located in Scarborough are looking to hire for a Director of Finance

As Director of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and operations for a leading manufacturer. This includes overseeing corporate accounting, consolidating financial statements from multiple plants, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting. You will manage treasury functions, assess financing alternatives, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency. In addition, you’ll lead a team of four professionals, implement robust internal controls, and optimize ERP systems to support strategic growth.

You will need to bring a CPA designation and 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least three years in a leadership role. Expertise in consolidations, multi-entity reporting, and IFRS/GAAP compliance is essential. Strong analytical skills, advanced ERP and Excel proficiency, and experience in manufacturing will set you apart. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities are critical to partnering with plant controllers and guiding your team toward continuous improvement.
