Your new role

As the Director of Business Development and Estimating, you will lead strategic growth initiatives and oversee the estimating department. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring competitive, accurate bids for civil infrastructure projects. This role requires close collaboration with senior leadership, project managers, and external stakeholders to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in business development and estimating within the heavy civil construction sector
Strong understanding of infrastructure project delivery, including sewer, watermain, earthworks, and treatment facilities
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage and mentor a team of estimators
Familiarity with estimating software and cost analysis tools
A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
