Senior Analyst, Compensation and HR Analytics
to support the development of compensation strategies and deliver impactful HR data analysis across Canada.
Your New Role As a
Senior Analyst, Compensation and HR Analytics, you will report to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, and HRIS. You will play a key role in shaping compensation programs and delivering data-driven insights that support long-term strategic planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation:
  • Support the development and optimization of compensation and benefits programs aligned with business goals.
  • Provide analytical expertise and guidance on incentive plans, bonuses, and annual salary review cycles.
  • Conduct market analyses, job evaluations, and salary structure studies to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with external firms and vendors to manage benefits programs, including pensions and group insurance.
  • Partner with HR business partners to provide compensation recommendations for both management and non-management employees.
Data Analysis & Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation, benefits, and HR systems processes; recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and maintenance across HR systems.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of HR tools and processes that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to support HR strategy and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Finance to monitor payroll and headcount.
  • Work closely with the ESG team on HR data and performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all HR systems.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Over 4 years of progressive experience in compensation management and data analysis.
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and data analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Solid knowledge of compensation structures, salary surveys, job evaluations, and market benchmarking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
