Your new role

In this newly created role, as the Construction Manager, you will report to the Director of Construction and have chiefly responsibility for managing a group of Site Superintendents with a mandate to bring a more formalized process and procedure to the department and projects. This is a senior leadership role suited to a process-driven builder from a top-tier contractor environment who thrives on improving field operations and driving performance across projects.

Your day-to-day role will involve leading, mentoring, and holding accountable a team of 7 Site Superintendents.

• Oversee 5–7 active projects ($2M–$100M; typical $30M–$50M)
• Drive schedule, quality, safety, and budget performance
• Implement standardized processes, SOPs, and lean construction tools
• Strengthen field execution, planning discipline, and QA/QC controls
• Allocate field resources and support unionized self-performing crews
• Act as General Superintendent on key projects when required
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, consultants, and subs to keep projects on track

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this vital role, you should bring at least 10+ years in construction, with strong Site Superintendent experience on $30M+ projects.

• Background in ICI and/or civil infrastructure
• Experience managing multiple projects and field teams
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, QA/QC, and lean construction
• Experience in union environments (preferred)
• Degree/diploma in construction, engineering, or similar (asset)
