Your New Role

The Construction Manager of Multi-Family & Modular Construction serves as the powerhouse leader commanding our client’s 1–6 storey residential portfolio. This is a high-impact role responsible for the entire project lifecycle—from the initial sketch to the final walk-through—driving a massive 1,000+ unit pipeline over the next seven years. This role will require your presence on site on a regular basis as well as contributing to head office functions.

The Mission

Portfolio Command: Takes the lead of the multi-family portfolio, ruthlessly driving budgets and schedules to ensure every project crosses the finish line on target.
Modular Integration: Acts as the internal authority on prefab and modular systems, optimizing assembly to slash timelines without sacrificing signature luxury quality.
Team Leadership: Inspires and mobilizes a high-performing team of field and office staff, fostering a culture of precision, speed, and accountability.
Technical Liaison: Serves as the strategic link between Architects, Engineers, and Trades, translating complex blueprints into flawlessly executed site realities.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Our client is seeking a strong professional holding extensive site and office operations exposure, paired with a relentless focus on project delivery and the diplomatic grit to navigate city permits and trade bottlenecks.

Industry Expertise: A heavy-hitting track record in low-to-mid-rise construction with a deep "under the hood" understanding of prefabricated modular systems.
Modern Toolkit: Proficiency in the modern construction stack, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Buildertrend, along with the ability to navigate Revit models and MS Project timelines.
Attention to Detail: The ability to ensure multi-unit lots and storied complexes receive the same meticulous craftsmanship as luxury detached homes.
Regional Presence: Availability for work based in Ottawa, ON, including necessary regional travel.
