Concierge
Your New Company:
Our end client is a luxury residential building located in Toronto, known for offering high-end amenities and personalized services to its residents. Buildings like this typically cater to professionals, retirees, and families seeking upscale urban living with convenience and security and they are looking for a concierge for their building.
About the Role:
Access Control
- Access control to the building is the most important job that the concierge would be responsible for. They must screen all the visitors and announce them to the particular resident they are visiting and grant them access only after authorization from the residents
- Monitor the surveillance cameras all the times that the concierge is at the desk and investigate things that are out of the normal
- Patrol the premises every two hours during the night
- Check and ensure the amenity doors (The Lonsdale Room, Gym, doors to the pool patio etc.) are secured during the night
- Turn off the lights in the Large and small gym
Key Control
- If for some valid reason the key to the resident's place is needed, do log the time the key was taken out and put back in and the name of the person
- All trades keys to be signed in and out
- All car keys to be put back on the key hangers immediately after either the car is brought up or parked down
Concierge as Car jockey/ Valet
1 Concierge to bring up and take down residents' car on request on a 24 x 7 basis
2 Midnight shift concierges are responsible for bringing up regular cars (as per the standing instructions from the residents) that go out daily
- Concierge is responsible for checking the cars for damages before and after the cars arrive back on the premises. If a damage is noticed, they are to be reported on the prescribed sheets to the Building Manager and the head concierge
- The concierge washes residents' cars that are scheduled for washing. Car washing are done in the afternoon and night shifts, the day shift concierge may also have to wash a few cars if there is an overflow of no. of requests for car washes
- Concierge are responsible for delivering to the residents, their parcels, Groceries etc.
- Concierge are responsible for answering the phone calls in a professional manner, take down the reasons for the calls and do the needful
- During the Winter, the concierge is responsible for shovelling salting the front sidewalks and keeping the up and down ramp clear of snow and ice
Documentation
- The Concierge is responsible to maintain a parcel log in the BuildingLink System
- Concierge should make the amenity reservations as and when requested by any resident, the reservations can only be made using the BuildingLink system. Concierge has restricted access to the BL portal, but they can still mark the requested reservations in the booking calendar, to be approved by the building manager
- The Concierge can however make and approve the reservations for the small gym
- Document in the Shift Log any relevant issue that the incoming shift must be aware of. The shift log is available in the BuildingLink Portal
- All Concierge must put in the Time Sheet the no. of hours they worked, on a daily basis
What you need to succeed:
- Good customer service experience
- Experience in the hospitality industry
- Valid and clean driver’s license
