Your new role
•Perform routine and specialized in-house calibrations of instrumentation.
•Collaborate with repair technicians to ensure efficient turnaround of customer repairs.
•Coordinate and oversee proficiency testing programs for internal teams and authorized service providers.
•Conduct scheduled audits of tools and equipment to ensure compliance with calibration schedules and standards.
•Manage the lifecycle of calibration tools, including scheduling, documentation, and vendor coordination.
•Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to calibration.
•Support compliance with ISO 17025 standards, including documentation and audit preparation.
•Provide field support for customer emergencies, including calibration and technical assistance.
•Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and calibration standards such as ISO 17025, cGMP, ISO 9001, WHMIS.
•Meet or exceed defined key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain sustainable workshop operations.
•Deliver consultancy services including:
•Installed base audits
•Maintenance process analysis
•Measurement performance analysis
•Criticality and maximum permissible error assessment
•Calibration interval optimization
What you'll need to succeed
•Post-secondary technical education in Instrumentation or Process Control.
•Experience in calibration and metrology practices.
•Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards.
•Valid Class G driver’s license.
•Ability to learn new tools, software, and technologies.
•Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
•Willingness to travel for field support as required.
•French language skills are an asset.
•Experience with SAP or enterprise office software is an asset.
