In this role, you will be responsible for procuring a wide range of packaging materials, including corrugated boxes, cartons, labels, shrink wrap, pallets, and other essential components required for production. Your core responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating, and managing day-to-day purchasing activities to support local plants, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. Success in this position requires exceptional vendor management skills, the ability to analyze market trends, and a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards. Proficiency in SAP HANA and Power BI is essential, as these tools will be critical for managing procurement processes and generating actionable insights.

As the ideal Buyer for this role, you bring proven experience in purchasing packaging materials and a strong understanding of the packaging supplier market, including established relationships with key vendors. You are proficient in SAP HANA for procurement processes, skilled in creating reports using Power BI, and possess advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and manage data effectively. This position offers a dynamic work environment with exposure to multiple industries and a wide range of commodities, giving you the autonomy to manage your desk and make impactful decisions. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, confident in driving conversations with vendors, developing strategies, and taking full accountability for results.
