Workday Specialist / Business Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Workday Specialist / Business Analyst on the HR Technology Team to support enhancements, optimization, and functional projects across our Workday HCM landscape. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep Workday configuration experience, strong HR functional knowledge, and exceptional customer-facing and requirements gathering skills. You’ll work directly with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT to design solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience.

You’ll work directly with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT to design solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure, enhance, and support Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Payroll, and Integrations. • Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and building trusted relationships. • Facilitate discovery sessions, conduct interviews, and capture business requirements with clarity and precision. • Translate business needs into functional requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and configuration changes. • Analyze current and future-state processes; recommend improvements grounded in both Workday and HR best practices. • Support new feature enablement in Workday • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions. • Prepare and maintain documentation including requirements, configuration decisions, process flows, and support materials. • Partner with technical teams on integration updates, data flows, and error resolution. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, particularly in HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, and Integrations. • Strong HR functional knowledge across core HR operations • Proven ability to gather complex business requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs or configurations. • Outstanding customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. • Experience analyzing business processes and recommending improvements that balance user needs, system design, and scalability. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation abilities.
