Your new role

  • As a Building Operator, you will support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of downtown Calgary buildings
  • Completing preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general systems
  • Responsible for maintaining strong tenant relationships while ensuring building systems operate efficiently
  • Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager
  • Work variable shifts, including participation in an on-call rotation
  • Maintaining detailed logs, maintenance records, and equipment documentation
  • Recording weekly and monthly meter readings

What you'll need to succeed

  • 4th Class Power Engineering certification (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in building operations, including HVAC and preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience working with building automation systems (relevant platform experience considered an asset)
  • Familiarity with hydronic boilers, air handling units, and related systems is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to pass background and education verification checks
