Your New Company
Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a leading organization to hire a Auditor for a long-term contract. This opportunity sits within the Corporate Accounting team and offers exposure to complex financial reporting, treasury-related accounting, and intercompany transactions. You’ll be joining a collaborative and detail-oriented team where accuracy, analytical thinking, and strong communication are highly valued.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly variance reports related to interest income and other financial metrics
  • Record quarterly accounting entries for restricted investments
  • Manage quarterly and annual accounting for insurance captive structures and insurance programs
  • Prepare Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and financial statement note disclosures for interest income and foreign exchange
  • Perform intercompany and inter-affiliate settlement processes
  • Collaborate with Finance, Corporate Accounting team members, and IS teams on SAP testing (intercompany, external loan setups, treasury derivatives)
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as required
  • Contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting processes and documentation


What You Need to Succeed
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA required; CGA/CMA acceptable equivalents)
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Knowledge of consolidation accounting and financial statement presentation, including US GAAP
  • Experience working with multiple functional currencies
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (ECC and BPC preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
