Hays have partnered with a well trusted Client here in Calgary, looking for an Assistant Superintendent to work on Multi-Family projects.

Your new role

The Assistant Site Superintendent supports the Site Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities for multi-family residential projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. It involves coordinating trades, enforcing OH&S regulations, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

3–5 years of experience in residential or multi-family construction.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and OH&S regulations.
Proficiency in Procore, MS Office, AutoCAD, and scheduling software.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Completion of relevant safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS).
