Architectural Technologist - Retail/Commercial Projects - Toronto - Hybrid

Your New Role
As an Architectural Technologist, you will lead the technical delivery of projects from early design through construction. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality documentation across all project phases, applying deep expertise in construction administration, building detailing, and constructability. In this role, you will coordinate consultants, guide technical decision-making, conduct QA/QC reviews, and resolve complex code and detailing challenges. You will also serve as a key technical resource for the team, overseeing the work of junior technologists and contributing to both the quality and efficiency of technical packages.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of professional experience as an Architectural Technologist, ideally focused on commercial and retail projects.
- Expertise in technical methodology, building envelope systems, and construction processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and refine complex technical details.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capability, including oversight of junior team members.
- Advanced Revit/BIM skills and strong overall technical knowledge.
- A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or Architecture.
- Exceptional communication and coordination abilities, particularly with consultants and external stakeholders.
