Your new role
As the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager, you will oversee a team of 5 employees and report directly to the Financial Controller. You’ll be responsible for managing both AP and AR functions, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections while maintaining strong internal controls. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring efficient operations and timely reporting
- Conduct regular assessments of aging reports to proactively manage outstanding receivables and payables
- Oversee customer credit evaluations, account setups, and the release of credit holds to balance risk and business needs.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with external financing partners to support business operations
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in vendor onboarding and payment processing
- Collaborate on treasury activities, contributing to cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Design, implement, and continuously improve policies and procedures governing AP and AR functions.
- Operate within a complex financial environment involving multiple entities and currencies, leveraging ERP systems for accuracy and control
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting environments
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing AP/AR functions with team leadership
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) is nice to have
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
