The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our North Vancouver team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in staying organized and supporting team operations.
You will play a key role in coordinating administrative activities and assisting with project-related tasks; this is a temporary position with the potential to transition into a permanent role, based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the organization professionally in all internal and external interactions
- Build strong relationships with team members, clients, and partners
- Prepare, format, and proofread proposals, reports, letters, and emails
- Perform general office tasks (printing, scanning, copying, binding)
- Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling for projects and staff
- Coordinate site visits and travel arrangements
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries
- Assist with timesheets and administrative/accounting tasks
- Arrange maintenance and repairs for office equipment
- Provide general administrative support as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of administrative or related experience
- Experience in a professional services environment is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with timesheet systems (e.g., Ajera) is an asset.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
