Your new role

This organization is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join its finance and admin team in North York. This newly created role reports to the CFO and is designed to support both finance and administrative functions. The position offers a hybrid work model (3 days in office) and a 36-hour work week, Monday–Friday, with half-day Fridays. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or someone new to the accounting field who has a solid grasp of the basics and is eager to learn and grow within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting or finance, with the potential to evolve into project accounting or other finance-related roles over time.

  • Prepare and process invoices
  • Prepare cheques
  • Filing reports
  • Manage 50 corporate credit card accounts
  • Manage validations
  • Handle receipts and staff expenses
  • Maintain attention to detail
  • Communicate confidently with partners and staff; strong associate-facing communication skills

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fresh graduate or early-career professional in accounting or administration
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and administrative processes
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Confident communicator, comfortable interacting with staff and partners
