Your new role
As an Accountant, you will report directly to the VP of Finance and work full-time from the office located in Stoney Creek, ON. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Support a variety of accounting functions within a dynamic finance team
  • Manage day-to-day transactional activities including payables and receivables
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
  • Reconcile bank accounts and support financial close processes
  • Contribute to internal reporting and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
  • Assist with audit preparation and inventory-related tasks
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the department


What you'll need to succeed
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general Office tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central) is an asset
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to learning and problem-solving
