Ability Matters Team Lead
Up to 24 month Contract role
Downtown Vancouver
Up to $65 per hour
Your new company
Hays is partnering with a non-profit organization, based in Downtown Vancouver. This is a 24 month contract, in office.
Your new role
- Extensive previous experience specializing in disability management, ergonomics, return to work programs and claims management
- Support with claims intake and case management of STD, LTD and WSBC cases as well as workplace medical accommodations
- Working for the Director, HR Advisory Services
- Extensive experience in (G)RTW planning and support with HRBP’s and managers
- Reviewing medically-related accommodation requests; ergonomics, remote work, etc.
- Partnering with HR Business Partners and OHS team members
What you'll need to succeed
- 4+ years experience in a similar role in Canada
- Prefer experience working in this capacity with a First Nations community, people, and/or businesses
- Solid knowledge of the concepts, practices, methods and techniques pertaining to the application of disability management principles in unionized and non-unionized environments
