Hiring (travelling) Maintenance Technician in Lower Mainland BC for a 3-month+ Contract

Your new role

We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician for a mobile role focused on property upkeep and service delivery. This contract-based position involves attending to multiple residential and commercial locations, ensuring maintenance standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Responsibilities:
  • Basic plumbing tasks, light electrical fixes, drywall and carpentry repairs, cabinet adjustments, fixture swaps, and general painting
  • Maintain cleanliness in spaces, including washrooms, lobbies, garbage stations, and parkades
  • Routine inspections of mechanical assets: boilers, pumps, HVAC, DHW systems
  • Conduct property walkthroughs
  • Handle landscaping duties
  • Provide exterior cleaning services including power washing and window cleaning
  • Address maintenance requests both in individual units and shared areas
  • Assist with touch-ups and deficiency checks following construction completion
  • Coordinate with contractors and third-party service providers
  • Help residents with minor moving tasks
  • Follow safety protocols
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings
  • Carry out additional duties as needed within the scope of the technician role

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years in property or building maintenance
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
  • Able to lift to 20kg
  • High school diploma required
  • Proficient in basic plumbing, appliance troubleshooting, light carpentry and painting
  • Familiarity with HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Experience with preventative maintenance protocols
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook<
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving

What you'll get in return

You will receive full-time hours, Monday-Friday. This is a 3-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
