Your new role

• Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Enter and process invoices in the accounting system.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (cheques, EFTs, wire transfers).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with month-end closing and accruals.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Continuously improve AP processes and contribute to automation initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Analysis of GL accounts, monthly reconciliations
• Experience in accounts payable department (Invoice processing, payments, supplier accounts)
• Systems : Oracle/EBS
• Good communication skills (French and English) – communication with suppliers and internal users to help with invoice issues
• Bilingual
