Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with an Energy company based in Calgary, AB. We are currently hiring a Marketing Specialist (Intermediate) to join their team for a 9 month contract . This candidate will be required to work full time hours and start immediately. This is a Hybrid work model. We are looking for someone who is a creative professional who will lead multi-platform content production, maintain brand consistency, and support marketing initiatives through exceptional design work across digital and print mediums


Your new role

  • Design and production skills across various mediums, taking projects from early concept to production-ready files.
  • Design and produce marketing materials for print and digital platforms.
  • Create internal and external-facing content, including PowerPoint presentations, email templates, reports, posters and more.
  • Develop and execute outstanding graphic marketing materials, including but not limited to design and layout for print and digital communications, creative proposals, internal marketing graphics, signage, and event collateral.
  • Develop social media graphics, web banners, email visuals and infographics.
Create visual assets for employee events and engagement initiatives


What you'll need to succeed

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Agency or in-house setting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
