Franchise Business Consultant

Your new company

A growing, values-driven food franchise organization is seeking an experienced
Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) to support and strengthen franchised locations across British Columbia.
Reporting to a senior operations leader, this role plays a critical part in coaching franchise partners, improving restaurant performance, and ensuring brand standards are consistently delivered — all while creating an exceptional guest experience.

Your new role

  • Serve as the primary operational and business partner to franchisees and restaurant management within an assigned territory
  • Coach franchisees to drive improvements in sales, profitability, and operating excellence
  • Conduct regular financial reviews (P&L, balance sheet) and provide hands-on business coaching
  • Support the successful execution of new initiatives such as product launches, marketing programs, technology rollouts, and process improvements
  • Assist with new restaurant openings and franchise resales
  • Act as a brand ambassador, reinforcing culture, values, and operational best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure franchise success

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or a related field
  • 3+ years of multi-unit experience within a national food service franchise model
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and influence franchisees and managers
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with a business-development mindset
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Client-focused, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach

What you'll get in return

The salary is between $70,000-$80,000 per year. You get 3 weeks vacation, benefits and RSP matching after 3 months.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel regularly within British Columbia (with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel within Canada as required
