Our client is a large, complex enterprise undergoing significant technology transformation across cloud and on‑premises environments. The organization is committed to delivering secure, resilient, and high‑performance network solutions that support business-critical operations across multiple regions.
Your New Role
As a Network Administrator within the Network Projects Delivery team, you will play a critical role in delivering large‑scale network and infrastructure initiatives across the organization. Reporting to the Network Projects Team Lead, you will work on enterprise‑wide transformation programs involving complex hybrid architectures, cloud networking, and highly available, secure environments.
This role is designed for a network expert who thrives in project-based environments and has strong experience with Fortinet, Cisco, and F5 technologies. You will contribute to both cloud and on‑premises deployments while collaborating closely with infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and transition to operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of large‑scale network projects.
- Deliver strategic initiatives under the guidance of the Network Projects Team Lead.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize cloud networking solutions in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
and
Microsoft Azure. - Modernize on‑premises network infrastructures with a focus on security, resiliency, connectivity, and performance.
- Implement and support
Fortinet
solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, SD‑WAN) and
Cisco
technologies (routing, switching, wireless). - Design secure, resilient, and high‑performance network architectures aligned with business requirements.
- Participate in multinational network deployments, including high‑latency environments.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure architectural consistency.
- Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational handover guides.
- Provide
Level 3 support
for major network incidents in environments still under project delivery.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum
7 years of experience
as a Network Administrator. - Relevant certifications such as
CCNP, CCDP, CCNP Wireless, CCNP Security, and/or
Fortinet certifications. - Strong knowledge of routing protocols including
EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. - Solid hands-on experience with
Fortinet products. - Experience supporting network infrastructures in medium‑ to large‑scale enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
- Proven ability to manage project delivery within established timelines.
- Strong understanding of network security principles.
- Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, initiative, and strong collaboration skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English)
is essential, both written and spoken.
