Key Responsibilities


  • Offer expert HR guidance
    To leaders and team members, serving as the primary HR contact for inquiries within the operational and logistics sectors.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and complaints
    Effectively.
  • Oversee daily employee relations
    And contribute to initiatives that boost engagement.
  • Provide coaching
    to enhance individual and leadership performance.
  • Manage health and safety concerns, actively supporting committees in their meetings and action implementation.
  • Monitor and analyze health and safety data.
  • Contribute to external recruitment efforts
    and support internal talent acquisition for operational and logistics roles.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process
    for new hires, conducting onboarding, retention, and exit interviews for relevant teams.
  • Ensure compliance
    with organizational HR policies and guidelines.
  • Administer company policies and procedures, including development and communication, ensuring adherence to all Canadian provincial labour laws and consistency across the business.
  • Participate in various HR and company-wide projects.
  • Maintain and update the HR management system
    to guarantee accurate and current employee data.
  • Execute administrative tasks
    and contribute to the enhancement of internal processes.



Qualifications


  • A
    university degree
    In Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field, it is essential.
  • A minimum of
    five years of experience as an HR Generalist
    Is required, preferably within an operational, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of provincial labour laws and regulations, including employment standards, human rights, and labour relations.
  • Mandatory experience in employee relations and labour relations.
  • Ability to thrive in a
    dynamic, multicultural, and results-driven environment.
  • Proven excellence in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Possessing
    High integrity
    and a proven ability to handle confidential information and sensitive employee matters professionally.
  • A
    Highly energetic, motivated, and results-oriented individual
    Who is creative, innovative, and adaptable.
  • Experience
    Collaborating effectively with individuals at all levels
    Of an organization, managing responsibilities from daily administration to strategic input.
  • Strong computer proficiency

  • This role is based at the
    Main distribution hub
    and involves frequent short travel between this hub and various regional logistics sites in the Montreal area.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written, is required.
