Warranty Service Manager

Hands on Warranty Service Manager New Home Builder Guelph $80,000 plus benefits.

Your new company
Our client is a leader in Pre-Fabricated Custom Home Builder. Located in Southern Ontario they are providing customers with personalized homes across the Niagara Region, Cottage Country.

Your new role
Organize schedule service team, sub-trades and customers.
Conduct site visits with customers to review customer service requests.
Answer customer questions regarding service, warranty claims and one year service.

Work with Site Support staff to schedule appointments, logging service requests into Home Tech, Service calls and Customers requests.
Prepare TARION and PDI Paperwork for Construction Managers.
Receive PDI paperwork from Construction Managers, review and document in Home Tech.
Prepare reports and special assignments as assigned.
Prepare work orders and PO’s for service crews and sub-trades to carry out assignments.
Order replacement materials through our Purchasing Department and arrange sub-trades for projects.
Track material orders and delivery, arrange in plant work, i.e. countertop prep, doors.
Set up crews for current days work; review previous days time sheets/work.
Liaison and correspondence with TARION representatives.
Prepare performance reviews, assess and review service staff with Site Operations Manager.
Prepare incident/accident reports for service team.
Comply with all safety policies and report any observed safety infractions to the H & S Coordinator.
Report any negative productivity, unnecessary expenditures or wastage of materials to the appropriate manager.
Ensure staff is adequately trained and have the resources to perform their duties efficiently.
Other tasks as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed
The requirements for the role are a minimum of 2 years with a home builder as a customer service coordinator or administrator. Two years as a carpenter or warranty technician for home builder. Ability to do small home repairs as per Tarion guild lines and home builders standards. Strong understanding of the residential building process. Well versed in the Tarion Home Warranty program. Good computer skills; MS Office. Strong organization and communication skills. Willing to travel across southern Ontario.
