HAYS Manufacturing has partnered with Manufacturing Company, currently looking for the Warehouse Manager who would be developing the sourcing, planning, inventory, and budget for the Director of Operations.
Your new role
As Warehouse Manager, you will be looking after the internal needs of Production and inside-sales departments. Our Ideal candidate would be able to develop new processes for inventory management, shipping & receiving, and service levels.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement ideas, implements action plans from the Production manager and strive for daily improvement.
  • Responsible for supervising accurate and timely processing of PO’s and deliveries to all customers.
  • Provides leadership and motivates employees to continually improve performance and results while overseeing the day-to-day operation of completed fireplace transfers, storage, as well as distribution of goods and security of the warehouse shipping bays.
  • Expected to work closely with the Product Team regarding vendor shipments and any other in inventory-related issues.
  • Responsible for pre-planning ahead of ALL incoming vendor shipments - comparing shipping documents to match purchase orders, and printing out retail price tickets.
  • Resolve all shipment problems and discrepancies to the manager.
  • Ensure all warehouse team members are following all safety standards.
  • Schedule pick, fills, scans and packs transfer orders for delivery or shipment to our stores.
  • Prepare shipping document and schedule freight pick-ups as required.
  • Supervise for the warehouse weekly cycle counting process, inventory accuracy..
  • Responsible for evaluating and mentoring warehouse personnel.

What you'll need to succeed?
  • Minimum of 3 years of leading warehouse/distribution center supervisory experience.
  • Strong people management skills
  • Strong organization and clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Cycle count, inventory, and analytical experience
  • Good knowledge of the customs clearance process, compliance and the system is essential.
  • Proficient with computer systems (i.e.: Microsoft Office, ERP system and warehouse management systems, etc.) Able to learn any new programs quickly.
  • Forklift Certified
  • First Aid Training
