Your new role

As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading and controlling the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer. Further responsibilities include conducting service check-ins, scheduling, estimating, selling, updating, and following up with customers during the entire service process. If you have exceptional people skills, are great at managing multiple responsibilities and can demonstrate excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

What you'll need to succeed

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field
• Four years related experience and/or training
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Heavy duty truck/equipment technical knowledge would be an asset
• Great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret financial reports
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise a high level of judgement and discretion
• Excellent time management with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage leadership responsibilities
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
• Strong business ethics with a professional approach at all times and
• Must have valid Class 5 driver’s license
