Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the property accountant will be responsible for the overview of transactions and reporting process for a portfolio of residential properties:

• Accounting Operations Management: Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and bookkeeping to ensure accurate and rigorous management.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide financial insights to management.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards, coordinate with external auditors, and prepare necessary documents for annual audits.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis to support decision-making and improve the financial performance of properties.

What you'll need to succeed

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Hopem, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
