Your new role
As the Outside Sales Representative for Woodstock and the surrounding areas, you will be taking over a well-established territory. You will be responsible for profitably growing the territory through both new client acquisition and also through maximizing business with the existing customer base. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, including identifying target clients, cold calling, qualification, in-person meetings and closing the deal. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the branch to ensure excellent customer service and delivery for your clients.
You will be based in the Woodstock branch, although most of your time will be spent ‘on the road’ visiting prospects and clients.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have at least 1 years’ sales experience, hunting for and closing new business, and managing an existing portfolio in a construction or industrial environment. You will be outgoing and friendly, able to quickly make connections and maintain long-term relationships. You will be confident in making cold calls and meeting with prospects in person, and of course ambitious and results driven. You are also able to efficiently manage your workload, keeping detailed notes of activity and progress.
You must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, and also be willing to complete a pre-employment background check.


What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package including base salary and uncapped commission. Your commission will be guaranteed for the first 6 months as you build your territory. In the first year, it is very realistic to earn $80,000 to $100,000 in total.

You will also qualify for a company truck and gas card, plus comprehensive benefits after a qualifying period.
