Your new company
Since their inception in 2016, this reputable supply chain company has been recognized 4 times as one of the fastest growing companies in Canada as well as being awarded as a “great place to work” 4 times. Their operating philosophy is to build an Elite (not large) team and to run a secure, growing business versus a boom-bust venture, which has already proven to be successful and allowed them to provide growth opportunities to their tenured employees. With that being said, they are currently looking to add more Negotiators to their team. They are offering a fully remote schedule for this permanent full-time position, which is open to all Canadian residents regardless of location. It should be noted that the company does function on an Eastern time zone schedule and successful candidates will need to accommodate this.
Your new role
As a Negotiator, you will be representing clients from Fortune 1000 companies and negotiating with a select group of their suppliers to deliver savings by working collaboratively on their behalf to negotiate pricing and at times, identify other opportunities to create value. You will work alongside a team (analysts, negotiators, auditors) to deliver a savings target. Responsibilities will include delivering the savings target for each project by negotiating with 100-200 suppliers every 3-4 months, 2-4 hours of daily supplier negotiations and follow-ups (usually 7-10 calls per day), and reviewing, auditing, and assisting in implementing negotiated outcomes. If you love negotiations, a high volume of wins, and being on the phone, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll get in return
Very competitive salary ranging from $80,000-$100,000 plus uncapped commission, fully remote schedule (9am-5pm EST) and 2-3 weeks’ vacation dependent on experience. They offer a very comprehensive benefits package after the probationary period, generous RRSP matching, education reimbursement, and annual company retreats.
