Your new role

Our client is currently looking for a self motivated mechanical project manager to join their Downtown Vancouver office. This position plays a key role in managing mechanical engineering projects of various sizes and complexity in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings to delivery energy saving, safe, and cost effective solutions to their clients. The mechanical project manager will manage project activities from conception to completion and will be responsible to sign and seal documents and drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to apply their skills and knowledge and develop their professional career.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed as the mechanical project manager you will bring 5+ years of experience in engineering and/or design coordination in the consulting industry, be familiar with engineering principles, and standards, you will be detail orientated and a confident communicator to present ideas and recommendations to fellow engineers, non-engineers, and executives. Post secondary education in mechanical engineering or another relevant discipline such as building systems and a professional designation (P.Eng. or EIT) in the province of BC is required. It will be considered an asset if you have knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
