Our client, a large wholesaler providing procurement and distribution in Western Canada is immediately hiring several Warehouse Order Pickers to join their team on a Permanent basis. This will be for their Food Distribution Centers in Winnipeg, MB.

Your new role
Our Team Members play an integral part to ensure Hardware and Agriculture Store shelves are fully stocked across Western Canada. Our client provides an environment for our team members to grow and develop their careers, starting from our Warehouse Order Picker position!

• You will fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
• Assist in handling incoming merchandise and housekeeping.
• Performing physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching. We take pride in ensuring ergonomic safety is fostered and encouraged.
• You will be working in a fast-paced environment in various climates (e.g., freezer on occasion, proper PPE is supplied and premium pay eligible).
• You will have an opportunity to also work in our Home & Building Solutions warehouse when required.
• The starting rate of pay is $16/hr, increasing after working a set number of hours as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement. You are also eligible for premiums when working in the Freezer or Yard, as per the CBA.

What you'll need to succeed
You are looking for a positive working environment to develop a career in Supply Chain, and:

• You have a minimum of Grade 12 or currently enrolled in completing high school.
• Previous warehouse experience (including shipping/receiving) would be an asset
