We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Financial Management to provide end-to-end financial leadership for high-impact initiatives that shape the future of our operations. Two positions available: 1 Temporary 3-year contract & 1 Permanent
Your new role
As a key member of our Strategic Financial Management team, you will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that drive critical investment decisions. From business case development and productivity analysis to budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring responsible funding and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
Lead financial planning for major strategic and capital projects, including cost-benefit analysis and forecasting.
Collaborate with senior leaders to influence strategic direction and support decision-making.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes for projects and business areas.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.
Drive process improvements and define KPIs to enhance financial and operational performance.
Provide clear, actionable insights through reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
Support benchmarking, product costing, and corporate/capital planning initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and Canadian CPA designation (or legacy CA/CMA/CGA).
5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or FP&A, with leadership capability.
Strong proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems; advanced TM1/Planning Analytics skills are an asset.
Advanced Excel and BI/reporting tool expertise.
Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen, with experience supporting large IT or infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
