We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Financial Management to provide end-to-end financial leadership for high-impact initiatives that shape the future of our operations. Two positions available: 1 Temporary 3-year contract & 1 Permanent

Your new role

As a key member of our Strategic Financial Management team, you will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that drive critical investment decisions. From business case development and productivity analysis to budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring responsible funding and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Lead financial planning for major strategic and capital projects, including cost-benefit analysis and forecasting.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to influence strategic direction and support decision-making.

  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes for projects and business areas.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.

  • Drive process improvements and define KPIs to enhance financial and operational performance.

  • Provide clear, actionable insights through reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

  • Support benchmarking, product costing, and corporate/capital planning initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and Canadian CPA designation (or legacy CA/CMA/CGA).

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or FP&A, with leadership capability.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems; advanced TM1/Planning Analytics skills are an asset.

  • Advanced Excel and BI/reporting tool expertise.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen, with experience supporting large IT or infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex information clearly.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
