The company is recognized as a real estate and land development company, who bring over 50 years’ experience in building a variety of high- rise and low-rise residential projects, as well as a portfolio of commercial, retail, and industrial work. Due to progression planning, the Senior Leadership team is hiring a Manager, People & Culture to join the company.

Your new Role

As the Manager, People & Culture, reporting into the Chief Financial and Operations Officer you will partner with the senior leadership team to support day to day Human Resources Operations, as well as act as a strategic business partner to the organization. The Manager, People & Culture will lead a team of two direct reports, and lead the companies Human Resources function; by leading all compensation, benefits, talent acquisition & management, employee engagement, succession planning, health and safety, performance management, training and development and employee relations programs. This position will manage, coach and mentor the People & Culture team, resolve complex employee relations issues, create, and deliver learning and development programs, lead the annual review processes, oversee payroll and other functions as required.

What you’ll need to Succeed

To succeed as the Manager, People & Culture you will bring a minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with experience operating in a strategic business partner or management role. You will bring education relating to Human Resources, in the form of a HRM Certification and or CHRP/ CHRL. You will be a forward thinker, who is proactive in your approach to defining and delivering on People strategies. You will enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable managing multiple lines of communication, and supporting multiple leaders. You will be able to manage confidential information, and be professional and friendly, able to lead and someone who loves to collaborate.
