For a growing engineering consulting firm on the North Shore of Montreal, we are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Combine the tasks of project manager and be responsible for structural design;
- Plan, supervise and carry out the design of reinforced concrete, steel or wood structures, assisted by his team
- Supervise and prepare budget estimates;
- Supervise and prepare plans and specifications; - Write technical reports;
- Verify and coordinate the work in collaboration with other parties (architectural, civil, electrical, etc.);

- Ensure the application of the company's quality standards;
- Carry out all other related tasks.

PROFILE SOUGHT-
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
- In-depth knowledge of the design of concrete, steel and wood structures;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Minimum of 5 years experience in building structures;
- Experience in project management;
- Knowledge of the following software: Word, Excel, Outlook and structural analysis software;
- Excellent spoken and written French, English (an asset);
- Experience in consulting engineering (an asset).
