Your new role:
This position is responsible, with overall direction and guidance from the Human Resources Manager and working closely with the management team in the BC & MB markets, for supporting and assisting with all human resources matters.
You will work with HR centers of expertise with the full-cycle recruitment process, Assist managers and/or supervisors in dealing with employee issues, Assist with developing appropriate human resource polices and procedures, Assist with administering the employee performance review process, Work with managers on succession planning, performance management, collective agreement interpretation and provide managers and supervisors with the relevant information, training, payroll and resources they need to carry out their human resources responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor Degree and/or College Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or equivalent education.
Two to three years’ previous human resources or related experience in an industrial environment is required.
A good knowledge of manufacturing plant operations, policies, union knowledge and safety procedures would be a definite asset
