Finance Manager 12-18 month contract , Downtown Vancouver, BC

Hays Specialist recruitment has partnered with a mining operations firm in Vancouver, BC. We are seeking a Finance Manager to support their team with a maternity leave coverage, which will be a 12-18 month contract. The role will be fully in their Vancouver office from M-F 8-4:30.
Your new role
Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will support the team with a number of duties including but not limited to:
- Processing bi-weekly payroll
- Processing AP and AR
- Assist Senior Accountant with month end close process
- Office Support and other Financial Administrative support as needed
- Main point of contact for Administrator Benefits and support HR administrative as needed
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this role you will need at least 2-3 years of experience within a similar role encompassing HR support, Financial support and office administration. You will have prior experience working with Sage, ADP Workforce and have prior experience processing payroll.
