Our leading oil and gas midstream client with multiple offices across Canada is looking to onboard a Engineering Technologist for a 1-year contract position based out of Calgary.

What you'll need to succeed
University degree. 1-4 years work experience. In addition to second level specialization, an authority over supervisory engineers or a large group containing both professionals and other staff. Authority in discipline-specific engineering, design (e.g. calculations), drafting (e.g. production engineering), vendor documentation review. Able to read engineering drawings, extract key information (from different locations) and record them in Excel file or similar.

Required to read blueprints including, but not limited to, facility drawings (compressor station, meter station) and pipelines. The expectation is the Technologist read the drawings, identify the required data and manually add it to a spreadsheet or similar.
