They predominately focus on commercial and industrial projects and have an exciting pipeline of work here in the Greater Toronto Area. Their office is located on the east side of Toronto and do projects in the areas of construction, retrofit and emergency response.

Your new role
The open requisition is for Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their team, overseeing the execution and profitability of construction projects within the Greater Toronto Area. This Project Manager will maintain contact with customers and subcontractors, dealing with them in tactful and sensitive ways and in a professional manner. This individual will travel throughout the GTA to various projects so strong multitasking abilities and the ability to communicate with all types of individuals is imperative. They will review, negotiate and execute contracts as well as manage all aspects of documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes. Finally they will be supervising and directing all project related activities assigned by their direct report, the Director of Project Management.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful incumbent for this Electrical Project Management role will have a minimum of 5 years experience as an electrical PM within the Greater Toronto Area, managing commercial and/or industrial electrical projects. They will be a great communicator with a professional demeanor and have the ability to collaborate and direct managers. employees,vendors and customers. They will be a self-starter and be capable of managing multiple tasks under specific time constraints. Furthermore, they will have strong knowledge of Accubid, be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and understand all electrical and building codes.
