Reporting to the Vice President, as the Development Director your role will encompass management of the internal operations team, planning, and taking responsibility for Shaw Living projects and external design resources. You will also be responsible for performing due diligence, feasibility, master servicing studies oversight (Water, Sanitary, storm water and Transportation Planning), as well as site designs, pro-formas and obtaining municipal approvals.

To be considered for this critical role you should have 10+ years of practical and progressive experience and a strong background in value-engineering and developing common sense solutions. Your experience should come from the Civil engineering consultant realm or within the land/site development industry with a strong engineering design background.

Additionally, you will have strong CAD capabilities and be up to date with your skills. You are a creative and out of the box thinker that is capable of developing solutions to complex problems and situations. A post-secondary degree in an Engineering or Construction focused (civil), a P. Eng. or similar is an asset. A PMP designation is an asset.
